Shipping & Returns

Shipping:



The Sole Closet can ship to virtually any address in the world.   Please note that we only ship to the address that is the confirmed credit card billing address (in other words, where your statement is sent).  We welcome all our overseas customers but do to the rise in credit card fraud there may be more steps overseas customers need to take in placing orders with The Sole Closet.  The exception to this restriction are our overseas armed services personnel who use overseas APOs or other military address and zip codes.

We use the following carriers for all our shipments:

    •    United States Postal Service (USPS)
    •    United Parcel Service (UPS)
    •    Federal Express (FedEx)
    •    DHL
    •    Express Mail Service (EMS)

Order processing times can vary, but most are usually processed, boxed, and shipped with 24-48 hours after order is placed.  Upon shipment of your package you will receive a shipment notification email which will contain the carrier's name and the tracking information, when available.  All orders are shipped double boxed to insure the integrity of the shoe boxes during transit to the customers' residence.

Please be advised that the above mentioned carriers operated totally independent of The Sole Closet and as such we can not guarantee that each of the carrier will always act in line with our store's policies.  If you feel that one of our carriers has acted poorly in the delivery of any package such as leaving a package without signature confirmation, we advise contacting your local hub or post office so that they can correct this problem.



Delivery Time:

After a customer has placed an order with The Sole Closet the customer will receive an email confirmation for their specific order.  In the confirmation email will have all the information regarding the specific items of their order.  Most orders are processed and usually shipped within 24-48 hours from when the order is placed.  Once the order has been shipped the customer will receive another email informing them that the order has been shipped.  This email will contain the carrier that has been used to ship the item, as well as, the tracking information for the order.

In very rare instances a order may not be shipped within 24-48 hours due to a product being out of stock and/or major holidays.  If there is going to be a delay in shipping we will contact you about what the shipping time will be via email.  If you feel that the new shipping time is not to your liking please feel free to email us at customerservice@thesolecloset.com and please include your first and last name, as well as, your order number.

Delivery Confirmation vs Signature Confirmation:

All of our orders are shipped with a either a delivery confirmation or signature confirmation for your convenience.  Most packages are sent with delivery confirmation though some orders due to the value of the items inside is sent with signature confirmation and insurance.  Any packages sent with signature confirmation you will need time your orders arrival by using the tracking number issued for the order.  If you were not home when the package arrived please contact the specific carrier about how to obtain the package.  Any package sent with signature confirmation will be insured with the carrier.  If the item arrives damaged or is lost in transit to your residence please contact us.  We will then file an insurance claim with the respective carrier.

Shipping Methods:



We offer our customers two different shipping options for all our orders:

  • Flat Rate Shipping - Usually takes approximately 2-3 business days
    
  • Expedited Flat Rate Shipping - Usually takes approximately 1-2 business days

Order Statuses:



The order will go through the following steps from the time the customer places the order:

  • Awaiting Fulfillment - Order is being processed by our customer service department
  • Awaiting Pickup - Order has been processed and awaiting pickup from one of the above mentioned carriers
  • Shipped - Order has been picked up by the carrier & tracking information has been forwarded to the customer
  • Completed - The order has been shipped and received by the customer and is complete

 


Returns Policy:


The Sole Closet does not accept returns on any product unless a mistake was made on our part. If you feel we have made a mistake with your order, please email us at customerservice@theshoecloset.com before mailing your purchase back to us. We will give you a confirmation return number that must be included in your package in order to receive your refund. We will refund your money back, excluding return shipping, if we find an error was made on our part.

* Exchanges can be made only if there was an error on our part *

* Customers must contact us within 5 days of receiving their shoes to request an exchange *

* Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping the sneakers back for an exchange *

* Shoes older than five to ten years from the release date are not guaranteed to be suitable for wear *
