Tony's Air Force 1 '07 DB Men's Shoe hails from the Doernbecher Freestyle program, a partnership between Nike and Doernbecher Children's Hospital. With a little help from Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, 11-year-old Tony Signorelli was able to create the shoe of his wildest dreams, a design that embraces the Air Force 1 and tells his story.
BENEFITS
DESIGN
This Air Force 1 is bursting with character-just like Tony. The aspiring secret-agent-actor-paleontologist represents his love for spicy food with a bold red color, and he shows off his vivid imagination with a dragon-inspired Swoosh. He even adds an image of a brain neuron at the outsole to symbolize his rare brain disorder. A closer look at this shoe reveals, in encrypted form, the message Tony lives by: "Think positive, and positive happens."
