Caden Lampert is a busy kid with a variety of hobbies, including music, dirt bike racing, magic and his favorite sport, basketball. In 2013, he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, an aggressive autoimmune disease that nearly took his life. But did that keep Caden from pursuing his passions? Not even close. When he's not listening to music or playing guitar in his room, he's riding his bike and playing hoops with his brothers, Blake and Ryland. CADEN'S DESIGN

Caden loves playing hoops, so he modified the Air Jordan 8 Retro by putting his jersey number, 14, on the midfoot straps and a flaming basketball on the translucent outsole. The interior straps feature his brothers' names, and the heel insert in back carries a yellow ribbon symbol as a special shout out to Ryland, who is battling childhood cancer. His fearless life philosophies are captured by a hang loose hand logo on the interior tongue and "Brave" printed at the ankle. His signature snake logo on one shoe mirrors the Jumpman symbol on the other, while a glow-in-the-dark splatter pattern stands out in illuminated detail.
