This is the Nike Lebron IX (9) "Swingman" edition. During the 90's when Lebron James was growing to become the pro he is today, there were some key athletes to look up to and especially ones that were Nike endorsees shaping the sneaker game as we know. These included of course MJ, Penny, Barkley, and others but one of the most influential would be a baseball prospect by the name of Griffey. The Nike Air Griffey line was iconic in the 90's and his "Swingman" logo became very popular on kicks. This pair of Lebron's is reminiscent of the Griffey "Emerald" colorway and and features a logo on the heel that resembles the "Swingman" logo except its Lebron dunking. This concept is very cool and anyone who enjoyed Griffeys will love this sort of collaboration shoe.
